Jeanette "Riley" Brook, MS
MD Candidate at UMass Chan School of Medicine
Riley Brook is a medical student at UMass Chan School of Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Boston University in 2023.
Before medical school, Riley worked as a Research Assistant and Mass Spectrometry Laboratory Technician in the Kanarek Laboratory at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she contributed to research investigating metabolic profiling across a range of disease states.
Her interests include primary care, health policy, health equity, medical education, and the biological mechanisms of disease. She is passionate about advancing equitable access to high-quality healthcare by addressing the social determinants of health and advocating for policies that strengthen primary care and improve health outcomes. At UMass Chan, she serves in leadership roles within several student advocacy initiatives, including the Advocacy in Action Series and the Learning Communities Advocacy Committee.
Riley is thrilled to join the Primary Care 4 You team and working together to advance policies that strengthen primary care in Massachusetts.
