Dr. Anoop Raman is a family medicine physician and addiction medicine specialist. He serves as Chief Clinical Officer of AbsoluteCare, a value-based care organization delivering comprehensive, integrated care to high-risk Medicaid populations across six states. In this role, he leads clinical strategy, provider performance, and care model design, including integrated clinical pathway development, behavioral health, and quality programs spanning chronic disease management, addiction medicine, and preventive care.
Dr. Raman's main areas of professional focus include value-based care design for complex high-needs populations, integrated behavioral health and addiction medicine, population health, and global health equity.
Dr. Raman is a Senior Fellow of Global Health Equity at the Atlantic Institute, a global community of fellows working to advance fairer, healthier, and more inclusive societies. He teaches as faculty at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Management. He also serves on the Board of the African Mothers Health Initiative, which supports maternal and infant health in Malawi.
